DescriptionFoxboro was founded in 1996. Our aim in starting our breeding programme was to breed quality youngstock of the highest calibre and to this aim we use only the best available bloodlines from around the world. We believe that if foals are given the best start in life, with a winning pedigree, then they are in the best possible position to go on and achieve great things throughout their competitive careers. If the inbred ability and correct conformation is there at the outset, then work and training should come easily to them. ALL of our mares are multi graded with WB studbooks and they are ALL multi-champions in the Showring. The vast majority of our stock have been shown in-hand with us or their new owners and ALL have achieved national sucess, with top judges and breeders commenting on their superb temperaments, conformation and movement. Our current stock hold some of the best bloodlines in the world of Warmblood breeding inc Rubinstein, Don Primero, Weltmeyer, Ragazzoni, Pik Bube, Shogun xx, Wenzel, Demonstrator, Rhodiamant and Donnerhall.
We breed a maxinum of 4 foals a year to ensure they get the best start in life with individual handling and attention. All foals are handled every day are wormed at regular intervals and have their feet trimmed as required. Most of the foals are shown with Mum at National Level and they all obtain superb results. We have so far, had Supreme Champions at The Royal Show, The National In Hand, The British Mare Championships and Major Breed Society Shows.
We firmly believe that young horses should not be over shown and prefer to be quite selective with how many shows we do. Every horse is treated as an individual and is carefully monitored so that it is never asked to do more than it can comfortably cope with at that moment in time. We are hopefully, after all, dealing with the top equine athletes of the future and so do not want to cause any problems at an early age. We usually have some superb foals and yearlings for sale who are county standard with the potential to compete to the highest level at sensible prices and who have been well handled and cared for.
