DescriptionAd posted 24 March 08.Carries 2 large horses or 3 ponies, F reg 1988. 6 cly 5 speed power steering with battery isolator, 210,000 kms Reliable compact box very easy drive ideal ladies or first box. Full 12 months test (End March 09) and 6 months tax Aug 08. Did not need any work for plating but had service and greasing whilst with mechanic. The cab doesnt tilt, so no leaks, but has good cut out access for servicing.
The horse section is light and airy, and seams to be welcoming to fussy loaders, it has granulistic rubber floor to horse area, and is half lined in stockboard, 2 fully adjustable telescopic 1/2 partitions with head guards, being bars not solid, lights, cooling fan and further ramp light, 3 opening windows to the horses front. The ramp is solid and lined in thick rubber, but well sprung for lifting. Length approx 7, 76 high and 76 wide.
This box has fitted out living approx 106 long with luton which has a made to measure good quality mattress, cut through cab, upholstered and carpet lined living area, solid wooden floor, not laminate, seating which converts to second bed, curtains, interior lights, 2 burner hob and grill, cooker, fridge (gas electric or battery) hot and cold water with good sized storage tank, loads of storage, cupboard and wardrobe space, separate shower/wc room with shower cubicle vanity unit and thetford chemical toilet, electrics run off separate split charged leisure battery. Separate locker for 2 gas bottles. Drop down steps from living area. There is spacious outside tack locker with shelving and saddle rack for two and 3 bridle hooks with plenty of space of all tack equipment and rugs and further under skirt storage. We have competed for several years and can carry every thing you would need for a week or weekend away.
This wagon has been owned for 6 years and has been maintained and is in good condition. It does have some wear and tear to the horse section, but nothing to prevent use, and in keeping with its age and use. It is used weekly even during the winter and has regular motorway and local trips. For sale as a larger box is now needed and we do not stay overnight as much so the living spec is wasted with us.
