Born in 2003, he has a kind genuine temperament and an increasing number of admirers. WINCHESTER D has had a fantastic showing career to date, as a 3yo he was In Hand Champion at nearly every County Show he attended and stood Supreme Champion and Best In Show at the British Skewbald and Piebald Championships. WINCHESTER D successfully passing his gradings with both the British Skewbald and Piebald Association and the Coloured Horse And Pony Society. In his First season under saddle, in 2007, he was equally impressive winning the New Forest County show, was Novice Ridden Champion at the British Skewbald and Piebald Championships and qualified for the Horse Of The Year Show. In 2008 he won the Derbyshire Festival HOYS qualifier and East of England HOYS qualifier and came 2nd in the Non-Native pony section at the Horse of the Year Show. In 2009 he won 3 HOYS Qualifiers in a row, including CHAPS South East, Bath and West, Derbyshire Festival and for a first time since a youngster was shown in hand at Bucks County and stood In-hand Champion!
